Recipients of the Business Innovation Commander’s Award successfully improved services and support for acquisition programs, fleet customers, and employees through process improvement tools/methodology, which resulted in reduced cost and cycle time associated with acquisition, technology and administrative processes/tasks. Vice Admiral Paul Grosklags, Commander, Naval Air Systems Command, presented the award to Team Lead, Mr. Tom Spidel (AIR-1.7, Pax River) and honored the AMS Team during a ceremony at Patuxent River Naval Air Station on Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

The Acquisition Tools AIR-1.7 team reduced duplicative data entry workload up to 30 percent and standardized data elements across multiple tools. The Command now has enterprise-wide tools that provide real-time single source acquisition and financial analytics, create an audit trail for contract deliverables, and link financial management to contract execution. These expanded capabilities save the Command millions of dollars in sustainment and labor costs. Precise Systems is incredibly proud of the work of this team in their work to “Delight the Customer” and “Deliver the Highest Quality of Service.”

SPLEXINGTON PARK, MD, February 21, 2017 — I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your superb efforts; 2016 was a record year for Precise Systems! Our great success can be attributed to your unequivocal dedication to our customers and the warfighter, your commitment to putting people first and your help in taking care of our own. As a direct result of your hard work, Precise’s 2016 “end of year” revenues represent a 41.5% growth over 2015. For the first time in our company’s history, we employ more than 250 people and the number continues to increase. This sustained growth provides new advancement opportunities for our employees and will be reflected in increased value for ESOP participants. We hope you continue to see Precise as a place to settle in for the long term as you pursue your career goals.

We launched a new website over the summer, became ISO 9001:2008 certified, and have increased our community involvement in supporting meaningful causes such as our Annual Back to School Drive and #NolanStrong.  At the same time, we extended Precise’s corporate brand among our social media outlets, and made a concerted effort to nurture our corporate culture and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.

Looking ahead to 2017, I believe Precise will undoubtedly have another outstanding year. Though we are destined to face challenges, including the ongoing task of winning our re-competes, we have consistently demonstrated our ability to overcome obstacles and continue to prosper. Our pipeline of new business targets is stronger than ever, and we are committed to investing in the infrastructure and resources required to sustain and attract talent and opportunities for Precise Systems.
